Bere Memories

These documents recall aspects of the more recent past on the Bere Peninsula. We hope to gradually expand our collection, which gives a rich sense of life in the parish, mainly in the 20th century. Many of the memories were collected several decades ago and the authors are no longer with us. Some of the documents have been retyped and edited – many thanks to Helena Rogers for her retyping skills!. When ‘clicked’, a document should open in Word or as a pdf file.
